Dr. Craig West's journey as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA® ) has significantly shaped his professional path, culminating in the creation of Capitaliz, a comprehensive software solution designed to help advisors guide owners through the exit planning process from beginning to end. 

Craig's 25+ years of experience as a strategic accountant, consultant and mentor grew his advisory firm, Succession Plus, to the largest Business Succession and Exit Planning consulting firm in Australia. His work lead him to EPI, and during his journey to earning his CEPA®  credential in 2011, Craig recognized two things:

• Exit Planning is a much needed, under-resourced, growth opportunity for advisors; and 
• Advisors need a systemized, digital platform of tools to effectively help prepare their owners for business exit. 

Feeling inspired, Craig spent the 15-hour flight home from CEPA®  training writing out his 21-step process (in five stages of value) and published a book (Enjoy It) on the process in 2013. Craig has since published four additional books, helped 800+ business owners and hundreds of advisors around the globe implement the Capitaliz model, received the Doctor of Business Administration award for a his research thesis examining exit options, and is a renowned speaker having attended and spoken at several EPI Summits through the years.
